Southeast Operations specializes in assisting businesses regulated by state boards of pharmacy—and their functional equivalents—in obtaining both home-state and nationwide nonresident licensure.
My services are focused exclusively on initial application submission and renewals.
Southeast Operations does not provide ongoing operational support, compliance monitoring, or legal counsel. Our engagement is limited to the successful procurement and maintenance of your licensing. Please note that our services are not indefinite; they are tied to specific, agreed-upon project scopes.
We offer three distinct packages:
Essential Package (1-State): Dedicated support for your primary home-state license or for those seeking non-resident licensure in a single state.
Premiere Package (3-State): A solution for businesses looking to expand beyond its home state, but not seeking aggressive expansion.
Enterprise Engagement (6-State): A comprehensive service package for pursuing nonresident licensure across six states.

Obtaining wholesale licensure is a complex, time-intensive process that requires far more than simply filling out applications. Each state maintains unique regulatory standards that shift frequently, requiring extensive research and precise documentation to meet compliance requirements.
By partnering with me to manage your licensing, you are investing in:
Comprehensive Regulatory Research: Securing a license is rooted in hours of in-depth research into state-specific statutes and requirements. I navigate these bureaucratic landscapes to ensure your application is accurate, compliant, and prepared correctly the first time.
Operational Focus: My role is to manage the entire licensing cycle so that your mental energy remains dedicated to running your business and serving your customers. You avoid the burden of learning the specific nuances of every jurisdiction, allowing you to stay focused on your daily operations.
Efficiency and Familiarity: I provide the experience and familiarity necessary to navigate the licensing process as smoothly as possible. By leveraging my established methodology, you bypass the common delays associated with navigating regulatory agencies and ensure your path to licensure is efficient and reliable.

If you are operating in a state that mandates medical device wholesale licensure, obtaining that authorization is the only way to operate legitimately. Choosing to be "above board" is about more than just checking a box; it is a fundamental pillar of a sustainable business.
Risk Mitigation and Peace of Mind: Distributing without proper licensure can lead to serious legal and financial ramifications, including heavy penalties, fines, and, in severe cases, legal action against your business or its leadership. Operating with the correct licenses provides the peace of mind that comes from knowing you are fully compliant and protected from these unnecessary risks.
Operational Integrity: Being fully licensed demonstrates that you hold your business to the highest professional standards. It eliminates the vulnerability of wondering if your distribution activities are being monitored or questioned by regulatory authorities.
Expanding Your Revenue Potential: If you are currently limiting your business reach to avoid states where you are not yet licensed, you are effectively leaving revenue on the table. Obtaining the necessary licensure removes those barriers, allowing you to legally enter new markets and create a new flow of revenue for your company.

Southeast Operations provides comprehensive licensing assistance in all states where medical device wholesale licensure is mandated. Our service offerings are specifically tailored to states with active regulatory requirements.
If you are conducting business in a state not listed within our service scope, we recommend consulting with legal counsel to confirm whether licensure is required for your specific product line and business model. By establishing your compliance needs with an attorney first, we ensure that we only pursue licensing where it is truly necessary, saving you time and resources. Once your regulatory obligations have been determined, we are happy to assist with the application process if you decide to proceed with licensure.

It comes down to our commitment to efficiency. My process is designed to be streamlined and intensive—not drawn out. By working within these specific project tiers, I can guarantee that I am personally hands-on with every detail of your application. This approach prevents unnecessary delays and ensures we are focused entirely on getting your license secured as quickly as possible, rather than managing an endless, slow-moving process.

Flexible Licensing Packages
I offer tiered service packages designed to meet your specific licensing needs:
Home-State Initial Package (1-State): Dedicated support for securing your primary home-state license.
Multi-State Expansion Package (3-State): A streamlined solution for businesses expanding into three key jurisdictions.
Enterprise Engagement (6-State): A comprehensive service package for managing nonresident licensure across six states.
Note: Due to the complexity and regulatory rigor of the application processes in California, Kansas, Michigan and Nevada these states carry a premium rate. Full pricing details and strategy options will be provided during your consultation.

Getting started is simple. Begin by requesting a consultation through our website and completing a brief intake questionnaire. Once submitted, you will be directed to my calendar to schedule a strategy session at least three days in advance. During this call, we will outline a strategic plan for your business. If you decide to move forward, we will initiate the onboarding process and begin your project immediately upon receipt of all required materials.
-
Yes, but I strive to minimize your workload. Client participation is required for items that only you can legally authorize, such as official signatures, bond procurement, and fingerprinting. By working together, we ensure your application is completed correctly and stays on track.
Pro-Tip: If you prefer a more hands-off experience, I highly recommend assigning a project manager or a trusted point of contact within your company to work directly with me. This ensures that all documentation, signatures, and internal tasks are handled promptly, keeping your application accurate and on track.
-
No, I am not your registered agent. However, I strongly recommend utilizing a professional service to ensure you stay compliant across all jurisdictions. I personally use and recommend Northwest Registered Agent for my clients.
Having a reliable, professional registered agent is a requirement for maintaining your good standing with the state, as they serve as your official point of contact for legal and tax-related correspondence. I encourage you to have your registered agent services established early in our partnership to ensure we can seamlessly manage your licensing documentation.
-
The duration of the licensing process is highly variable and depends on a number of factors beyond just the application itself. Because every state has its own regulatory framework, there is no single timeline that applies to everyone.
-
It is your responsibility to notify the relevant regulatory boards of any major changes, such as selling your business, moving to a new facility, or changing ownership.
Once you have notified the board, please contact me at least 120 days in advance if you would like assistance managing the required updates. Depending on my current capacity, I am often able to help ensure these changes are processed correctly so that your licensure remains in good standing.
Please note that this is a separate service from your initial engagement. Assistance with changes is subject to a separate service fee—in addition to any applicable state filing charges—and will require a brief consultation to determine the scope of work and my current capacity. Providing this advance notice is essential to avoid potential lapses in your ability to operate.
-
While I have not encountered a board rejection to date, it is important to understand that licensing is ultimately at the discretion of the state regulatory board.
Please note that most boards will only discuss specific application details and rejection reasons directly with the applicant (you). As a result:
Direct Communication Required: If an application is rejected, you will need to contact the board directly to determine the cause, as they generally will not discuss the file with a third-party consultant.
Resolution & Appeals: Any necessary corrections, correspondence with the board, or formal appeals must be handled by you, the applicant.
Limited Scope: Southeast Operations does not provide representation or direct management of rejected files. My service is strictly limited to the initial application strategy, preparation, and submission.
-
When you partner with Southeast Operations, you get the structure of a professional, systemized firm without the impersonal bureaucracy of a large corporation. You will work directly with me on every application, ensuring a personalized, hands-on experience.
I know the licensing process is already inherently lengthy, so I focus on accelerating your timeline rather than prolonging it. My approach is straightforward and gimmick-free: I respect time and your bottom line by delivering honest, efficient, and professional results.

Generally, no. Unlisted states involve unique rules and nuances—such as conditional filing criteria or varying resident vs nonresident requirements—where I always recommend having a business attorney review things first. I do not process applications or offer consultation for unlisted states unless you are applying for an initial resident license in a state where that process applies.
To obtain more information regarding states not offered on the service menu, you can access my statutory research in my Southeast Operations Wholesale Medical Device Non-Standard Licensing Reference Guide to review directly with your attorney.

Please direct all initial inquiries to info@southeastoperations.net. To maintain the focus and efficiency required for complex compliance work, I manage initial communications via email. While active clients receive access to my direct business line for project-specific coordination, please note that email remains the preferred channel. This ensures that all regulatory guidance and sensitive project documentation are clearly tracked and securely recorded.
